  1. To be realistic. The things you're talking about here - torture, drone strikes, firing missiles at other countries, supporting genocide - these are things the US does. It's not party political. I'm prepared to believe the US did more drone strikes when Trump was President than when Obama was President. However, it was during the Obama presidency that drone strikes became a thing. As drone technology "improved" it's unsurprising the US chose to use them more often. Guantanamo Bay. Never got closed during the Obama presidency, which lasted 8 years. Ethnic cleaning of Palestinians - that started on a large scale during the Biden presidency. Firing missiles into other countries - has there been any presidency in the last many decades when the US hasn't done that? Either directly, or providing the weapons, military intelligence and finance to the proxy country that did? Team Democrat and Team Republican are irrelevant here.
