Ultimately Obama was a weak President. He promised Hope and Change but then listened to people like Jason Furman when they told him he couldn't/shouldn't introduce changes such as squashing price gouging. The ultimate travesty being that those on Wall Street who caused the Global Financial Crisis by their insatiably greedy and completely illegal activity went scot-free while the brunt was borne by the have-nots.
