It's clear they are out to shut him up. It doesn't matter if the allegations are true or false, although why would you wait 15-20 years to suddenly make accusations, and then suddenly 4 "victims" appear at the same time. The process is the punishment, if he has to go to court, it will tie him up in the legal system for two or three years at least and discredit the uncomfortable truths he has been revealing, that would be job done for the Plaintifs, they don't care if they lose and have to pay the fees, they will have achieved their goal anyway. Meanwhile everybody can make slurs about him with practical impunity. I expect the BBC will attack him relentlessly. I think on this occassion though it is going to backfire...watch this space.
