I have noticed that people often reveal themselves by their attitude. That is to say a cheat will assume you are a cheat, and a crook will assume you are a crook etc. Because that's how they think so they presume everyone else thinks as they do. This is true in politics also, one side will accuse the other of doing exactly what they are doing, hence these people who decry hate it's because they are filled with hate themselves.
