It is not about one term of parliament. Clearly the Politicians in the main didn't want to leave, it was after all part of their career plan. It may take three or four terms before the politicians get used to the idea, indeed we need a whole slew of new people as politicians as the current lot in all parties are absolutely useless. All the major parties have become Green Loving Social Democrats, of slightly different hues, but basically they all think more or less the same thing. The Left has moved right and the right has moved left. This is not healthy for our country or our democracy, things will change but patience is required, by 2035 they may be used to the idea !!

@xdgamesCoUk Well most of their policies are left leaning, all this overspending, the Green Policy, the immigration policy, all this diversity nonsense. People voted Tory to get immigration under control get us out of the EU and balance the budget. What we get is increasing immigration , both legal and illegal, massive deficit spending, a rush to net zero, pandering to the LGBT community, increased foreign aid etc etc The Rwanda idea was a ridiculous deflection, they knew that would never work out, we have the power to control immigration but the Tories are just afraid to use it, they had a massive majority, they could pass any law they wanted but they have failed to do anything. the Rwanda policy has wasted a whole year which is exactly what they wanted. Why do you think they are doing so badly in the polls? Do you really think the people think Starmer and his merry band of buffoons are wonderful...Not a chance, the reason the Tories are not doing well is because they are not doing what they were elected to do. It is also the case that Labour have rejected the radical Corbynism and moved rightwards to the centre, so we currently have a Conservative Party heading Left and the Labour Party heading right, everybody has become Lib Dems basically.

@MangoFIlms_CH Why would you want to leave the EU and stay in the Single Market, that would be idiotic. All the Political Parties in Westminster were pro Remain, only UKIP was pro Brexit and they had no presence in Westminster. David Cameron sent us a leaflet remember? He said that we should vote remain. He also said the Government would implement the decision, that makes it very much "non advisory" rather it was an obligation to do as instructed. I'm not surprised you disagree though, loads of people, like yourself, don't know much about the EU.

@xdgamesCoUk The Conservatives are supposed to be fiscally sound, they spend like drunken sailors, they are supposed to defend the borders and yet they allow in 600 000 legal immigrants and 50k illegals and don't do anything about it. They are promoting all sorts of Left wing agendas. They aren't conservatives at all. The Rwanda Policy was never going to work out, it's a distraction there was never any intention of sending anybody to Africa, it was to make it look like they were doing something.

@cooltv9350 It is these days, there isn't much between them. As I say, everyone is a Lib Dem.
