  1. Social Security is not an entitlement. I paid 7.5% of my GROSS income (up to max) into it for 34 yrs straight & my amount paid into ss determined my monthly social security check. Why don't we call fire, police pensions, or call any gov pensions "entitlements"? Further, I remember seeing paycheck withdrawals of up to $500 per month on my pyck stubs for Medicare/Medicaid! My medicare is certainly not going to be an entitlement
