They also did have dsg golf r's in other parts of the world during the mk6 Gen
2
They should have been offering the jetta in awd... theirs alot of cars over the years that manufacturers really missed the mark with. No reason they couldn't have put the golf r motor in a jetta and the haldex
2
Also what you meant to say is you couldn't get traction I have a 750hp ek civic with big fat slicks and still have issues hooking unless I'm on a prepped track it'll blow the tires apart at 70 that said still beat em spinning.
2
People with these direct injection cars need to make hpfp upgrades that flow twice the amount of stock then you should be able to go stage 3 with the proper low pressure upgrades and go back and forth between e85 and premium... mixing e85 is a stupid hassle
2
Basically if you're installing a catch can install this with it you'll have alot more room without the can present running this and a Trans cooler is going to cause you to loose the ability to run a fmic

Cool build, and syvecs is dramatically over priced
1
That's not carbon buildup that's oil build up or sludge for that matter
1
We don't get the tcr or club sport wich has always been sad

The mk8 interior is trash other than the ability to change the ambient lighting they could have done so much better. So the whole mk7.5 interior in an mk8 and deleting that stupid light bar would be nice
1
Vw missed an opportunity with this could have done this and made it a 50k car

This is a fantastic video

Jb4 is good for its safety features, it's good for its boost control logging and monitoring... not keen to it making power when I ran it I used a backend flash. How I would continue to run it

Really not feeling the mk8 at all

Agree alot of these companies are missing major opportunities. Or coming out with special vehicles not releasing them elsewhere or are charging to much. 1. Forte gt should have a version with all the elantra n stuff in it 2. Kia rio should get all the forte gt stuff 3. I30n hatch should have a slight interior upgrade and be put all over the world 4. Their should have been an rsr golf for 50k 5. Type r should have a sedan version and a dct option and should have kept the price point at previous generations made dealers sign a contract that they'd sell them for msrp 6. Corolla gr needs a better interior and a dct option. I could keep going

@Amir Naseer I disagree the 8v rs3 interior is awesome as the golf r/gti the current versions are wack as hell
1
Everyone wants to run these massive breaks I'm Over here trying to run 16s and fatter tires
1
Its not carbon buildup it's sludge

The e888 is a stout modern 4 cylinder however vw skipped over acoustics engineering

Yea the exterior isn't so bad natural progression form an mk7 not the crazy dramatic body changes we've seen in the past I can Over look the light bar disable it etc but not the interior its hideous.. themes look like a child's tablet over all the velostern sounds better and has a better interior especially with those seats... interior is where you're engaging and spending most of your time its a serious downgrade from thr mk7. It's sad the used market is so inflated they're charging original msrp or more for mk7 gtis wich is trash I was going to save some money and go get a 2020 21 with low miles. the new ones are out and available. They're actually selling mk7s too for these prices. wich is a statement to just how trash the new interior is... Dead ass a gti s is 29k it has everything the outgoing premium model has tech wise and then some technically more hp etc and people choosing to pay 38/39k for a used mk7.5... that's saying something...
