If it was so secure why did the FBI ask him to put another lock on it? And how many empty folders marked "classified" were found? Trump wasn't supposed to have any government documents after leaving office, and neither was Biden. at least Biden didn't lie about it and refuse documents when he was asked to, because he was never asked. Trump was, and lied and delayed for over a year and still didn't return them all.

The reason the FBI went into Mar a Lardo is that since May 2021 the archives had been asking Trump to return all official documents he had Hisa lawyers conducted documents searches in January and June 2022 and certified that all documents had been returned. The FBI was forced to execute a legal search warrant to retrieve all the documents. An attorney and Trump and his family observed the search on CCTV. What did the FBI do wrong, bust Trump?

The archives asked Trump to return all documents beginning in May 2021, and by June 2022 he still hadn't returned all of them, forcing a legal FBI search.
