Depositions are legal documents and are made part of the official court record when an attorney files them with the court having jurisdiction where the depositions are taken. They don't disappear; in this case they'd be on file with a court and copies could be presented to the Committee, though all the agents and their attorneys would need to do is present them in a public forum, if they're telling the truth
