  42.  @robertseavor4304  Trump's deal involved lifting the arms embargo on the Taliban so they could buy any arms they wanted from anyone, lifting the ban on them working with al Qaeda, which worked with the Taliban in taking over key parts of Afghanistan in 2020 and 2021, and cutting the number of US troops to 2500, half the number of Taliban fighters Trump agreed to let out of prison. The deal was made in April 2020. How could any "allies" be unaware of it? His deal left insufficient troops to cover the withdrawal, and as I said , if Biden had replaced the troops Trump removed, in order to safeguard the evacuation, so the few remaining troops wouldn't have been outnumbered and overwhelmed, you would have said "Look Biden is keeping us in Afghanistan, the warmonger." Trump's deal laid the groundwork for the Taliban to do whatever they wanted. Biden's mistake was in not scrapping the deal and at the very least, undoing Trump's stupid troop drawdown until the evacuation was completed. .

Trump's deal called for all troops to be out in May 2020, again so he could use that in his re-election campaign. The Pentagon objected strongly about what a mistake that would have been. Then Trump wanted to pull ALL US troops out after he lost the election,. Look it up. The POS never cared about Afghanistan, civilians, weaponry or anything else. He just wanted out as quickly as possible, regardless of the consequences, as long as he got re-elected.

If Biden had canned it as he should have and put more troops back in to cover the withdrawal after Trump withdrew almost all of them, , you'd have called him a war monger.
