I have family members who have died at the hands of the horrific NHS system. Many others have the same tragedy in their lives. Indeed vast numbers do,

except it makes many people who are far from prosperous worse off, sometimes very much worse off. I wish that what you wrote ws true. It is not. That is the tragedy here.

@Matt-ou7tu the Hybrid system requires the PROSPEROUS to shoulder the added cost and the full integration of public and private clinics and hospitals adds IMMENSE capacity

@RomaCharly How terrible, you may be correct. I am very pleased I left the place decades ago. All the best to you

A friend of mine is in desperation for his wife if he dies first and 40% of the pension he has built up and would go to finance her small private pension now goes in IHT. She will be impoverished. Many must now be in such a condition, and he simply does not understand how it can be that his private pension fund is described by the BBC and others as a tax avoidance mechanism when he saved for decades into it, now he draws on it and pays income tax on it. This all seems brutal.
