By any measure, this disease is producing no great danger for the entire generative element of the population; it spreads very rapidly, yet the average age of death is in the 80s in the developed world. and in other places, probably similar, since obesity and old age decrepitude is far less widespread there. Compared to 1918 flu and the odd projections of the not-very-listened-to UK chappie from Imperial, global deaths are tiny indeed. There are effective treatments, yet the control freakery obsessional nonsense accelerates, with an obvious desire to either outlaw death, or ensure no crappy little politico can be fingered for a single death anywhere. And all the while, climate change, now entirely unstoppable, ( where the fifty year lag means we experience emission totals about in the early 1970s) proceeds on its way to destroy human civiisation, and kill the great majority of higher life forms on earth, including us. The doctor here seems a nice fellow, but his perspective is typical UK GP>- hard-working, intelligent, dtatadriven, but his nose far too close to the grindstone, while his entire workshop is alight AND HE DOES NOT EVEN SEE THAT.
