Well after '45 they played class war politics, nationalised so much and then destroyed those industries by capital drought and utter doctrinaire incompetence, then they sold the victim identity politics game for all it was worth, buying vast numbers of votes, creating social cultural racial and religious belief poisonous fantasies, to the point where the society simply imploded, and in deluded desperation, chose brexit and irrationally blamed Europe for the home grown madhouse. Now, they are seen as the vicious, destructive, incompetent, class-stirring-crazy-left-leaning flakes that they are. They are irrelevant. They are destructive and damaging. Their worst crime was their effect of stopping Britain developing an advanced social democratic politics based on intelligent, rational functional social cultural and economic engagement. They alone did that, and they alone made the fascism that is now seen there daily. They are dead, not buried, and their demise is a wonderful thing.
