There’s a problem with Jeffrey Sachs argument that is it is too elegant, and it hangs together so beautifully in order to support his prejudice, his preferences and desires. There is not a single element of the history of this matter which he refers to, which does other than support his prejudice’s and his beliefs Makes it unbelievable In the end, if you think Putin is honorable decent and will not invade the rest of Europe and simply wishes to correct the overreach of NATO then Sachs is right. That’s one hell of a belief it proves to be an incorrect belief. Then the Mongol holds will be attacking central, and Eastern Europe, and everyone will be amazed because they will believed Mr. Sachs and read Mr. Mesrsheimet. it is America has switched sides and will become a mineral extractor of the Soviet Union Mark two and has no interest interest in Europe and has abandoned it entirely Trump reflects the logic of not spending money to protect a part of the world that should protect itself, and he is right The only question for us is can you protect itself or will we all be slaughtered and skewered on the end of a bayonet?
