  1. Truss is correct in one key element,  The size of the socialist state is so vast that real economic growth is squeezed out. In the last 30 years socialist controlling Europe including Britain has grown by 30%, less than one percent a year. The USA, a free lower tax capitalist economy has frown by 4 % per annum, or 120% in the same period, more than doubling its size. Europe and Britain are so weak, so state heavy, so bankrupt of money and ideas and technology that they risk becoming the battle ground for proxy wars between the great powers. This rant from the chappie is more soggy socialism and self regard.
