  10. Concerning the reality. Well, It is FAR more dangerous. The total net percentage of internationally traded foodstuffs is much less than 10%. The UK imports between 68 and 73% of its food needs dependent upon estimates or re-exported foodstuffs. The real and increasing danger, made FAR worse by the total political isolation of Brexit is truly terrifying as climate change reduces - and that process is NOT linear but is itself accelerating - total global food output. It will not take many years - and I mean years, not decades - even after Ukraine restarts food shipments - before there is inadequate total food output and traded foodstuffs available for the UK population ( and similar societies like South Korea, perhaps Japan, Egypt, etc) will be less than demanded by the population. Thus food shortages will grow, be unmanageable, and in some decades only, food supply failure into the UK, and consequent starvation, and probable rapid social breakdown will be unavoidable. Brexit makes this FAR harder than to slow, and to ease. Brexit is insanity. The people who knew what they were doing when they lied uphill and down dale about it are the real criminals. Recall the war of 39-45; there, when the Uboats were winning the battle of the Atlantic, and Britian had at least 30 million fewer souls than today, it almost collapsed into starvation and capitulation, despite the most severe of rationing. That is not well enough known and understood. Had the German codes not been broken again, the end would have been rapid.
