  1. The Welsh are even more luddite in this matter. I read that even though dirt poor Wales got more subventions from Brussels than anywhere else in Europe because of the levels of local impoverishment, after the Welsh voted to LEAVE (YES!they DID!!!) they sent a bunch of Plaidish politicos to Brussels saying 'Sorry we voted to leave, but can you keep sending the money!!! I fell off my chair laughing at that one. Since then, inward investment at even lower levels, total cultural isolation, mean-ness of spirit and hopelessness. Pitiful stuff.
