DO you object to my - admittedly- very shorthand description of corporations which do damage across the globe with no regard to matters they call unpriced 'externalities"? If so, why??? You have a problem with the ghettoised nature of knowledge and its less and less respected value outside universities? Trump America etc etc etc? Seems painfully obvious to very many of us. Your one word put down implies suggest all voting citizenry are fine-tuned to understand and value the matters here touched upon? Really??As for a mass electorate / universal suffrage democracy, I believe I am in good company in disliking the hedonism and instability it engenders; starting with Aristotle. Let us hear from you please, here, to get a fruitful conversation going for the good people who read this tiny little column on this immense matter to be able to make a judgement if what I suggest - with due humility - is, as you say, 'rubbish'.
