  8. I read in the Times of India that they would sign the Paris accord, then burn coal like no tomorrow, so as not to be seen as a skunk nation. And why have they increased their population by 1.1 Billion in less than one human lifetime? Grotesque.

As for the poor countries" They have little chance of doing well, yet they do not try to control their grotesque population increase ( save for Iran) but the industrial pyramid and their people will die first, so no pity for the rural poor is appropriate.
