Using existing diesel engines a quick conversion means engine manufacturing will carry on. Electric trucks cannot pull the same weight/payload as a normal truck because of the weight of the battery, so twice number of trucks needed to move the same freight. Stupidity.

Why not forget the French market and insist our supermarkets only use UK fish and sell it cheap as its healthy too. We dont want net zero, we want civil service reforms, we want House of Lords reforms, we want cheap local energy supplies which makes industry competitive and household bills affordable which means we need some coal, UK gas, nuclear and fracked gas.
