The "liberal" Conservatives agree with Starmer and Davey on immigration, the asylum system, net zero, foreign aid, penal policy, what a woman is, how much racism there is, post-Brexit EU relations, the continued relegation of nation states etc etc. Yet this world view is miles off being popular enough to prevail over authentic conservative stances when it comes to the centre-Right electorate.
