  1. There was a time not long ago when the Speccy was a dyed in the wool Conservative publication, but now they are New Labour and chose Sunak the unelected PM. It detests Truss and Boris and cannot be taken seriously any more.

  2. As a follow up to my above comments let me back my points up further. The Spectator got an exclusive on camera interview with Trus and ever since we have seen Ms Balls and the economics editor rubbish her answers as well as Mr Nelson. So then we come to the once brilliant Mr Neil who employed Liam Halligan at GB News calling him brilliant and on top of his game. Remember Halligans for years has criticised the treasury, Bank of England and the IMF and OBR and Halligans yesterday said the main points of Truss policies is needed but was bashed constantly and if Halligan agrees with not raising corporation tax and supply side reforms. Well the speccy views have just gone along with its mate on Team Rishi to the detriment of the majority of tories. Sorry but using Mr Neil on some subjects is like shooting your own feet off

  3. I would agree normally but his hatred of Boris goes back to when he was editor of the speccy so his judgement is somewhat clouded. He also has another entity that haunts him and turned him into a bitter bitter biased man. GB News turned him into a huge sulk and since it actually gets more viewers than BBC News, Sky News, ITV News and the like especially the failing Times TV. He cannot gracefully leave it alone, he makes himself seem like a bitter twisted old man
