  1. The best way for our veterans to be looked after when leaving the forces, is to guarantee a job in civvy street, with pension carrying on whilst in that employment. That works for anyone leaving and joining the police for example as it’s classed as continuous service. The job guarantee shouldn’t mean you have to accept as you could already have a job lined up. However there are NHS jobs from helicopter pilots, paramedics, nursing, lab work, IT and countless other roles. Civil service roles from doorman right through border force, HMRC investigations on smuggling, drugs, enforcement etc, security, ,libraries, council workers even bin men, joiners, electricians…….. having work to go into aim sure would help many with PTSD and stop the vets on the streets. Who better to do jobs rather than importing millions of migrants….
