@HybridHumaan I'm not talking about others German TVs as I don't speak german, but DW is the only one in English DW therefore that aimed at foreign viewers. Also, I'm not talking about exact number of minutes they dedicate to one party or another, but I'm saying they give much more space to Greens than to any other party
2
Don't know about France and Germany, but in Italy pro Ukraine political parties barely constitute the majority and they're part of different coalitions. both the left and right wing coalitions have "pacifist' (=Pro Russian) parties among them
2
@Biggvs_dickvs How do you know the future? Did you ask to an haruspex
2
I hope she will be convinced to stay for another term
1
Nuclear power is the solution
1
The US and European countries should start sending troops on the ground
1
@LarsPallesen Why world? You think someone else would get involved on Russia's side? Seems unlikely to me
1
Good news from Chile, leftist DW doesn't like it
1
There will never be a new member because no one wants to share its privilege. Matter is dismissed. Also, you have to be a great power to be in and there are much more powerful countries in list
1
Why are the Greens more dangerous than the SPD? Are they more ideological/populist?
1
Ban of artificial fertilizer is a criminal act, causing starvation of millions. The government members should be trialed for crime against humanity
1
This is just for Germany, that's why Italy is buying from Algeria now
1
They seem much more reasonable compared to the Italian or French greens, even though I don't really support them. At least they recognise the importance of a bigger role in foreign policy I guess
1
That's because Germans don't want nuclear power
1
@FAL87 *military expenses, my bad
1
@_littleBot EU is not going to war against the US what are you talking about. But deals can be made with multiple countries, you know?
1
And Germany? 🤣
1
The so called "environmentalists" 🤣
1
Let them riot, the reform has been approved anyway
1
@karlmarx8133 my question was why did they vote for him
1
@jasonlee6326 So loyalty to the party I guess
1
@karlmarx8133 What made the voters choose Lascher instead of Söder?
1
@HiAdrian Yeah, at the end I got it. Masochism, basically
1
Don't tell DW
1
@GrowingEvolutionary some more than others
1
Yeah, exactly. Though it's a green Party channel, so I expect it to change it a little bit now that they're in power
1
@entyropy3262 I don't know whether this is good or bad for the CDU, but it's not my point. GRUNE was overrepresented even before the election
1
"Lizz Truss was not elected by the British people" What?
1
Why does the Tunisian PM has a Japanese name?
1
Algeria a better option. But the only solution is nuclear obviously
1
Russians have bought many politicians around Europe. It is possible that many members of the German government, or parties, are compromised
1
Nothing new
1
All these good achievements and rights will be gone in some months
1
I trust Xi Jinping more than Lula in foreign policy... that's say it all
1
NATO really shameful, leaving Afghanistan in the hands of the Talibans!
1
@rylencason7303 I don't blame the US (and its allies btw) for being in Afghanistan, I think much more troops should have been sent. Otherwise everyone could have stayed home
1
You can't defeat the Talibans with only 30/40k soldiers
1
@entyropy3262 ok, I meant the Chinese government obviously. But it's not fair to say the CCP never changes. Xi Jinping way of handling China is different from his predecessors (after Mao)
1
Surely the Chinese will be so scared of the Greens 🤣
1
They will send a letter of strong condemnation to Putin once the Russian attack. After all, who cares about Ukrainians, the most important thing is to shutdown nuclear power plants no matter the cost of it.
1
@ninifamilychildren4281 Yeah and?
1
@bgcvetan ?
1
Non lethal aid wouldn't be very useful
1
They're obsessed with nuclear reactors, for some reason
1
@KnowledgeXYZYT well said
1
Better to move to Munich
1
Germany is the more Pro Israel country in Europe
1
Because the Greens have been paid by fossil fuel companies for decades
1
No this comes from Lebanese waters
1
@billm3210 the problem is that if the opposition goes into power and implement what you're suggesting, Erdogan (or those similar to him) will only benefit as they can blame the government for the inevitable austerity
