  3. My brain cannot deal with an infinite universe, it must be finite. If the universe was infinite, then there's an exoplanet out there, which is for example Mario World or an Earth 2.0 with a Willem living there, who keeps winning the jackpot every time he buys a lottery ticket. That's something I cannot accept, sorry, the universe is big, but it cannot be infinite.

If the chance of an Earth 2.0 being in a galaxy is one part per trillion (ppt), then in an infinite universe with infinite galaxies there will be 1 ppt * ∞ = ∞ Earth 2.0s. If the chance of a creature to exist with my exact DNA on those Earth 2.0s is 1 ppt, then there will be 1 ppt * ∞ = ∞ Willems out there. If the chance of one of those Willems to win the lottery is 1 ppt, then there will be 1 ppt * ∞ = ∞ lucky Willems out there in an infinite universe. This is why I cannot accept that the universe is infinite. The universe has to be finite, because when chances of something to exist are not zero, you can get to really very ridiculous scenarios in an infinite universe.

  10.  @mitseraffej5812  Yes, and you have been made possible by this universe, so if the universe is infinite, there will be creatures with your DNA out there somewhere in some galaxy far far away and one of those creatures is winning the jackpot in lotteries every freaking time, because of the infinite possibilities of an infinite universe. That's why I have a hard time accepting that the universe is infinite. And yes, fictional things like lightsabres for example are not possible, so they won't exist in an infinite universe, I agree.
