  2. Hey Freya, fantastic video.that made me think a lot about the future too. When you brought up AI being deceptive and also your depression, I was wondering: could you be projecting your depression on AI? As Wil Wheaton (who has been dealing with depression himself) has said: Depression Lies. Maybe the depression is the real parasitic cancer... You also asked where AI is going. Well, AI defeated us in chess in the 90s, and then AI defeated us in the game Go a couple of decades later, so the next game AI is going to tackle us with is Diplomacy, and it is practising on us right now. I like to compare AI with forklifts, because a machine has become stronger than a human, doesn't mean humans no longer need our muscles. Same for LLMs, because AI will be better at creating smart content, doesn't mean humans no need to use our brains... Anyway, I am still trying to figure it out myself here, so I don't have all the answers, but hopefully I have helped you a little bit? Best wishes for the new year! :)
