My answer was E: none of the above, because I thought it would travel at the speed of sound since the electrons in the wire would react with each other like dominoes...

@eyescreamcake thank you for this information, I didn't know that! :) I knew the speed of sound is different in different media, like it is faster in water than in air and I guess it is even faster in a solid metal wire than in water, but I had no idea it would reach close to the speed of light. So just checking if I understood the video right, if we used Veritasum's setup and add 2 more light bulbs at both U-turns of the cable and label these three light bulbs in this sequence A, B, and C: would the middle lightbulb B light up first, because of the field generated by the source is just a physical metre away, and then lightbulb A and C light up at the U-turns of the cable far away? It seems so counter-intuitive... EDIT: I watched the video again and Derek did say there is an impedance... he definitely needs to make a follow-up video... I am still confused.
