  26. It works (90% successful interceptions) but it needs fuel for the 3-7 separate parts of the system, there's a limited supply of missiles & it deliberately doesn't defend all areas. Plus Hezbollah has been targeting the 10 installations.

  33.  @derektoyne2729  You misjudge Corbyn's leadership style – he's a true democrat, he presents the consensus position rather than his own will. Where he has a strong view or insight he persuades the consensus. Unfortunately his own Party was already persuaded by Israel.

  36. Information preliminary to this discussion – There are 10 ísraeli installations of Iron Dome & the 2 US American installations have been leased back to ísrel. An unknown number of these have been taken out by Hezbollah & we don't know if they've been replaced. Iron Dome is limited in that its radar section only tracks ranges of 2.5–43 miles (4–70 km), the control section is trained on a map of defended & undefended areas & the "cheap" ($40,000 each) Tamir missile it fires is unguided. There is also a limit to the number of targets it can track or intercept even with the full complement of 4 missile batteries & (I think) 2 radar sets.
