@debbiegilmour6171 actually the UK has largely destroyed its valuable economic sectors. During the Empire the cloth industry was shipped abroad & when the Empire collapsed our connection to that industry also collapsed, before that was spice trading & more recently Thatcher's pogroms against the Unions collapsed much of our industry leaving us reliant on service industries in turn leaving vast numbers of people on the dole. Shipbuilding, railway equipment, coal, steel, pottery, whole major industries are gone or nearly gone.

@debbiegilmour6171 Germany's economy was harmed by WW1 but what actually wrecked it was the Treaty of Versailles which was specifically designed to ruin Germany.
1
@debbiegilmour6171 WW2 wrecked Britain, it was rescued by the Marshall Plan.

No what's happening in Spain?
1
"Where is Labour going?" To the dogs! I'll watch the video now...
1
Benn was also against the EC/EU
1
Trump IS "MSM BS"! 😮😂😂😂😮
1
@garyh1572 no, Torys have been in power for 100% of that time, Blair & Starmer only wear the rosette, they're not really Labour.
1
why?
1
Oh dear, I hope you survive your life lessons 😢
1
@mrradman2986 "You cannot tax your way to growth" – Yes governments can! by the simple expedient of taxing stagnant money back into circulation!
1
What we must do is start thinking about who we vote for & the agendas they carry.
1
But that's totally against the Neoliberal "small government" model that Thatcher left us with!
1
Where are you getting "75k" from? It's not in the video.
1
The rest of what you say is unevidenced too.
1
Now how do we get MPs to see this & then take the next step into something that does work?
1
Your controller is wrongly set up. The problem being resolved is "islanding" whereby your feed is still live (from your panels) when the engineer comes to fix your line & gets electrocuted. Your controller can be set up to isolate the mains when the mains fails.
1
"CORRUPT" I'll accept but Starmer's Labour is absolutely NOT either "Marxist" or "socialist" 😂😂😂 Blair purged the Marxists & Starmer has spent his entire time purging socialists (& non-Zionist Jews).
1
Are you sure he's not with the American Zíonísts? There's 10 times more of them...
1
Why would that be your priority? Why not inequality?
1
Private healthcare was in place long before the NHS & has never gone away, of course its infrastructure is in place.
1
It took Yemen, YEMEN, less than a year to develop & fire hypersonic missiles that US/UK still haven't managed to make – the problem isn't money or skilled designers, the problem is corruption!
1
@neilblackburn6869 which is why the right encourages poverty & maintains less than 100% employment.
1
"turds float to the top" comes to mind
1
Thanks for the inaccurate propaganda, who does it benefit? (clue: not you)
1
very nearly half the people did vote for Harris.
1
@WarrenPeaceOG Barbie has propaganda drummed in from birth assuring her that Police pointing guns at her is ok...
1
@jamesgravil9162 the grinding paste driving that was the Treaty of Versailles, something was going to happen in that period regardless of the activities of the Austrian painter. "Sanctions" currently scattered across the globe may well prove to be equally abrasive. 😢
1
Mexico 😢
1
This is a channel, his site is even more interesting.
1
@pairedsoles2822 not true. Whilst individual people may leave their wealth cannot, it's tied up in buildings & other fixed assets.
1
@Betweoxwiteganthere is a major difference, LibDems have LDFI, the Greens don't. Please stop promoting gen0cide.
1
I am imagining a university lecture hall full of students presenting both witty & daft questions & all of them being logged then answered 😊
1
That's hardly surprising, we've had Neoliberalism for 45 years now so it's only people over 65 who have seen anything different from an adult perspective. 😢
1
There are many economists, each with their own models, the problem is which ones the politicians choose to follow into the abyss. Vote wisely!
1
Starmer's Labour have done the other thing – they have joined The Establishment! 😢
1
The UK was the world's supplier, each in their time, of coal, steel, tin, woven cloth & many other things. What changed is that politicians got bored with their very expensive country piles falling down holes & the air becoming unbreathable. Being British politicians they weren't about to regulate to make it safe so they shut it down! Since 1918 that's been our fault for not picking politicians who will do their job to benefit us!
1
0:17 corporate and national donors! The Press has told us much about Russia, from the Brexit campaign to Boris Johnson, & Israel appears, often through Lord Cashpoint, in Registers of Members Interests right across Parliament. This, of course, is tantamount to treason & documentaries from Channel4 & Aljazeera have shown us actual treason (though nobody has been jailed).
1
History informs us that when people get bored of being poor we turn up in Westminster en masse & sort it out.
1
Income Tax was introduced in the UK in 1799, prior to that ALL taxes were wealth taxes! Income Tax was a short-term measure specifically to pay for fighting Napoleon & it was stopped immediately the war was over. It was re-introduced in 1860 & is re-introduced every year since because it's a temporary tax -- the basis of British tax is wealth taxes.
1
Professor Richard Murphy is employed by a university -- he's not well paid!
1
Companies don't move to Eire for tax reasons, they do it because Eire is in the EU & because it has easier regulations! If they only want less tax they go to the Isle of Man, Channel Islands or the British Overseas Territories (most famously the Caymans).
1
You're wrong on every point but I can't be bothered with you.
1
You had the option to vote for Stein yet you voted for the uniparty the same as all but 8% of your compatriots 😢
1
why?
1
Who do you work for, Tufton Street or the MSM? 😂
1
If you want PR voting you have to vote for an MP that supports it & won't be whipped by a party that doesn't.
1
I'm sure they would love to pay their fair share, since Blair they've been paying well over 80% & with no allowances.
1
The electorate has already chosen Reform Ltd as the successor to the Tories. 15% vote share. The 4 seats will resolve into a conventional number as voters decide where to vote.
1
That's the joy of the House of Lords – 850 experts in a huge range of fields with enough humility that they call in panels of experts to discuss things with as a matter of routine procedure.
