@MyKharli the 2016 & ongoing Brexit & Trump cults are the work of Canadian hedgefund billionaire Robert (& now his daughter Rebekah) Mercer, his tool AggregateIQ (Cambridge Analytica) & his minion Steve Bannon (who has been seen fomenting the right wing across the EU) ably assisted by Russian propaganda & Wagner's St Petersburg "troll farm/factory".

@snowiecat456 "we will support you"!?! 😂 Carla Denyer and Adrian Ramsay have been in full view since October 2021 & their party since 1984, Arthur Scargill & his party have been available since 1996, do you need a longer list of candidates you have completely ignored?
1
That's because after a century of open voting we still haven't learnt how to vote! Vote for an A-hole, get an A-hole!
1
and do what with him?

BS

The Police not doing their job is not a problem of immigration it's a problem of the Police not doing their job. There are many reasons for that, all to do with the Government. The one that was in the news for a couple of years was the Government culling 20,000 officers but that was part of a general extreme underfunding that went across all public services, including the enforcement necessary to keep Police doing their jobs & massive cuts to the Justice service which mean that on the rare occasion the Police do still catch a criminal nothing is done about it.
1
Immigrants from the specific countries you mention actually do improve the housing situation because their culture is that they build their own houses so when the megacorporations who control building think the market is right to build a few houses these immigrants are there with the skills to actually do the jobs. (English builders have wandered off to Dubai, Germany, Emirates etc where they pay decent wages & are actually building things).

@LeicesterMike ísrel have been power brokers in Westminster for at least a century without spending much money.
1
@Ironwalley89 "getting"?
1
So @archvaldor, did you vote for Jill Stein?
1
@Ironwalley89 he's appointed at least one of the "Disinformation Dozen" so expect much worse 😢
1
@mishapurser4439 the "hard left" does not exist in UK politics, don't mistake the shift in the Overton Window for a redefinition of "left" & "right". "Left" is still "for the people" & "Right" is still "for business", all UK parties recognize that "business" is a required part of the economy & don't seek to take more than the "natural monopolies" into State control.
1
@JohnPark-xf2gq *perfect - "prefect" is something entirely different.
1
Your parties are filled with ídíots, why wouldn't ours be too?
1
Do you have proposals for achieving that?
1
Just as plausible an idea is teaching the entire electorate how to vote. No, I have no proposals how to achieve that either.
1
...and yet we're heading deeper into dystopia 😢
1
@Contextualiser16-tn8nd the legal tool we have is "Misconduct In Public Office" which risks a minimum £4million per attempt. We saw the case against Johnson thrown out by a bent Judge after the money had been spent & the watchdog just let it go. No, legal channels have proven unusable, this leaves us with the traditional "pitchforks & firebrands" approach which we're not yet ready for. Perhaps if another million are killed by government policies?
1
You've got that completely muddled up! 😂
1
Ensuring people can afford to feed new children might help too.
1
...but taking an educated guess can sometimes avoid nasty surprises.
1
That's a whole matrix of conversations! I'm not prepared to type in a whole screed only to have youtube delete it & I expect many others are the same so can you explore this in an interview with someone informed & intelligent, please?
1
Yes, what a scam that was! All the reporting at the time implied there was going to be a series of votes for different PR schemes but we only ended up with one vote & that for pretty much the worst possible scheme!
1
Giving heed or credence to a membership is not a required part of a political party (as Starmer ably demonstrates) all that's required is sufficient funding to stand candidates at elections. Not exactly democratic but it's what we've got.
1
Have you ever read the novel "Make room, make room" or even the movie derived from it, "Soylent Green"?...
1
Our currently-minimal UK solar installation is producing nearly one GigaWatt right at this minute, 3% land coverage will provide for ALL our current electricity needs, add in all the others you mention & we have a massive surfeit (more than enough to burn out our interconnectors into Europe).
1
Farage & Trump are cults, both driven to an extent by Cambridge Analytica & their successors, this is not normal politics, sense makes little difference. 😢
1
I refer you to the Oxford English Dictionary.
1
There aren't any "illegals"! Internal Law requires that we take in refugees but Government stopped all legal routes to get here & stopped them applying for asylum in Embassies around the world. It's the Government who are breaking the law not the refugees! Even when they do get here we send 80% away again. No, this is a scam to funnel our money to Tory "donors" who own derelict & condemned "hotels" but still want to rent them out.
1
0:27 why are you putting "Labour" & "thinking" in the same sentence?
1
Gary's Economics youtube channel has things to say about one aspect of this.
1
Apparently Torsten Bell's twin brother has been brought in to oversee "Rachel from Accounts".
1
@bulltraderpt is your twattish comment special for youtube or are you always like that?
1
The ghettos won't be chartered, they'll be small anarchies into which the charter-city 'police' will occasionally make armed forays.
1
You're conflating independent concepts. The concept of the corporation didn't hold till Parliament executed the first King Charles & won the English Civil Wars. (The other combatant group was the People who also lost).
1
@skip181sg "why?" Because you didn't fully state your case. What are we supposed to do other than extrapolate?
1
@manoo422 sorry to have to tell you but it's you that's acting the sheep, lemming even 😢
1
The leading cause of bankruptcy in USA is the "healthcare" system.
1
Neoliberalism, the governing ethos of many Western Parliaments since Thatcher brought it over from Chile's Pinochet 45 years ago 😢 It's a particular style of vindictive laziness you would expect from a reviled dictator like Pinochet.
1
@physiocrat7143 don't blame incompetence where greed & corruption are a better fit.
1
@ltmund Labour was that new party a century ago but now we have the Greens
1
@ltmund their plans look significant to me! 😮
1
The parties have no need to empathize with the people while the people believe that the 2 Establishment parties are the only option. 😢
1
@mtrhodesy that would depend on the wording & administration of the Charter.
1
Well that's half the story, the other half is around how electricity & its fuels are bought & sold.
1
I had to look it up so to save anyone else the bother or to pique their interest -- "Theranos Defunct American privately held health-technology company Theranos Inc. was an American privately held corporation that was touted as a breakthrough health technology company." -- Wikipedia
1
@JupiterThunder a 20p tax cut won't go far towards a £million injection (& they already exist).
1
@robinbeckford the party which was pro- business to the extent that it increased inequality to the highest level in centuries & killed a million citizens with its policies can reasonably be taken as "far right" & then there's Reform Ltd...
1
@paulgibbons2320 I'm fairly sure the OP knows what issues they do or don't have 😮
