  1. You miss the point, there is no dispute that the NHS is intrinsically A Good Thing but it could be better & a few of it's flaws are inherently lethal. This monologue begins to set out one of those flaws & states that it's a problem of the whole of society not just the NHS.

  7.  @keithparker1346  that's definitely an aspect, we also have an engineered disinterest, engineered mostly by the Press most of us choose to read or watch. There will be other aspects too but I'm not enough of a philosopher to work it out. It's probably worth having a look at what Marx had to say about it, he was the analyst of cultures.
