  3. Product quality is about patient safety, it comes from the adulterated bread scandals of the early & mid 1800s when bread was all many people could afford to eat. (It's also why bakeries are singled out for protection in the Geneva Conventions governing war).

  7. ​ @stevencalvert9454 both Labour & Torys are Neoliberals which is the source of this problem. Thatcher started this by basing her premiership on the Ridley Report & it's just carried on from there.

  10. Neoliberalism, the governing ethos of many Western Parliaments since Thatcher brought it over from Chile's Pinochet 45 years ago 😢 It's a particular style of vindictive laziness you would expect from a reviled dictator like Pinochet.
