  3. ​ @pederjohansen2029 seeing the problem & legislation came before "technology & better management". The problem was toxic near-opaque air & legislation banned in cities the coal that was causing it. As you say, we're using more energy which has to come from somewhere, this lady wants more use of the dirtiest source we use & it won't be long before we hit exactly the same problem caused by using too much coal. Thousands are already dying because of it.

  4. ​ @TheJon2442 all power supplies are part-time, even the supposedly continuous nuclear runs 3 months on & 3 months off because it was designed to generate plutonium not power. They have enormous difficulty scheduling down time so enough is running to be useful.
