@GavinScrimgeour 😂😂😂😂

That would indeed be arrogant to _assume_ but the reality is that the consensus among EU countries is that they want us back. They know that Brexit furthers Russia's project to break up the EU, that the EU is stronger & more coherent with more members & that even after decades of Tory desecration we still have skills & expertise that are unique in Europe & probably the world.

46:09 "the only way you can justify the unjustifiable is by claiming it will achieve the unachievable" Thank you. An insight into the "thought" processes of our elected representatives. (We do need to learn how to elect better ones).

Yes, it was reasonably common (obviously far from universal) until Johnson kicked them out.
11
scared enough to vote for something different?
11
@silverlinings3946 I still have great respect for Mr Lynch in his day job though I agree he should educate himself on the EU before discussing it publicly.
11
@chichim2020 the Labour Party was formed specifically to represent organized labour, why would it consider representing anyone else without changing its name?
11
@mariogmajner6549 you've cut'n'pasted that almost to the point of spamming but it's the first I've heard of it, can you point us to a source, please?

"First they came for..." Rev. Martin Niemöller, 1946
10
@elliotwilliams7421 absolutely!
10
it's actually been said before but it bears repeating
10
@whynot217 provided you don't use that to obscure the harms done, yes.
10
too late, it was sold in 2012
10
@aesclap21, don't believe anything else he says either!
10
13:05 removing by force a democratically-elected government is illegal under international law.
10
Did they ever police by consent? Even when they were the Bow Street Runners? They're just another gang like the Crays (who did have at least a little consent) they deal in drugs & stolen property just the same, operate similar protection rackets. I've not heard of them running prostitution but maybe that's just not being reported.
10
Well there's a councillor who will be having his credentials questioned at the next election 🤣 Can't even hold his own argument together in a discussion & resorts to spraying around some pretty vile accusations – is that really what you want on your Council making decisions that directly affect you?
10
were you seriously asking the world's most famous liar not to lie?!? 😂😂😂
10
hahahaha! that's democracy in action, if you don't like it there are plenty of dictatorships around... There had been complaints building up about that statue for years, probably decades, & the people's "representatives" in the Council refused to do anything about it so the people did it instead -- democracy in action, we need more of it.
10
I don't understand how he didn't go down the hard shoulder? This is exactly why it's kept clear in traffic jams. Did nobody nearby have a mobile phone to call an ambulance? nobody?
10
because we're not suckered by conspiracy theories! 😂😂😂
9
We need to learn how to vote!
9
There was an occasion in 2016 when Farage's announcements made absolute fortunes for his mate Crispin Odey. It's documented in Bloomberg's "The Big Brexit Short"
9
@Kurdedunaysiri ...found in a room off a tunnel under the hospital that Israel dug prior to their evacuation in 2005.
9
This isn't about trans people, it's about attempting to legitimise bigotry.
9
@toshtosh9482 much more bias just recently, almost as though a memo went around discussing the viability of jobs...
9
@JelMain it's difficult to change where you were born
9
she does, weekend afternoons
9
😂😂😂😂
9
@joanofarc708 sorry, no, that's Tory propaganda.
9
@robertsmith7667 bad voting choices.
9
@youtubeyoutube936 Government, at public expense, produced the pamphlet which was specified in the law which gave us the referendum. Anything beyond that they did at their own expense. Both sides had pages in the pamphlet. "Clutching at straws" are you?
9
3 million starved to death in Bengal in 1943 under Churchill's leadership – the only Bengali famine not associated with drought.
9
@DigitalDaffodil please pay attention.
9
@allisonnancholas9620 if there existed "2 immutable sexes" the rest of your sentence might make sense but biology simply isn't that simple
9
@sonjacorovic6490 "who killed 1300 innocent israelis?" You're making numbers up, 1300 was never stated. It was initially 1,400 then 1,200 then 1,100. Most were killed by the IDF, not that they were innocent. All Israelis between 18 & 60 are in the IDF or reserves, including those abroad.
9
@123Andersonev she sounded more brainwashed than lying but either way it wasn't at all edifying. The sentiment of "we've had enough of you - click" was the most satisfying part.
9
@anthonynichols8468 Russian energy? About 11% The previous & ongoing reliance on Russian resources is money, particularly money in politics & in real-estate. The Tory Party is absolutely reliant on Russian money & Russian money largely paid for the Leave campaigns in Brexit (despite this being illegal).
9
11:08 the Green Party have had this nailed for years, that's why I'm voting for them & I encourage everyone else to do the same. They understand totally that social justice has to come before anything else otherwise everything collapses.
9
@limpethead and Starmer is just as dangerous as the rest of them.
8
@miatrue98 he did end up being lynched though. Hmm, I wonder if that runs in the family? Maybe skipping a generation?
8
There's problems which seem insurmountable, 1) netanyahu has to keep his government together to stay in the Knesset & out of the Courts & away from his fraud trial which he has already lost & is waiting for sentencing & 2) UK & USA have adopted israel as the power brokers within government, Israel decides who gets to stay in or leave UK & USA's governments.
8
equal? magnified & multiplied!
8
@nighttrain1236 an embassy is an extension of sovereign territory. Any country can do whatever it likes with its embassy. The host country has the choice whether or not to throw individuals out or the whole embassy but not the choice of what happens in that sovereign territory.
8
Things will definitely get better under Starmer because his corruption isn't as harmful to the British people.
8
reaction to the title:- no, she should be jailed under Misconduct In Public Office so she can also be banned permanently from Public Office.
8
@fvefve12 so you just missed voting in Thatcher's first election, did you vote for her 2nd term? If you did this is very much your fault.
8
bigotry & nuance really don't sit well together
8
@whatever-w5n why are you responding with a gross over-simplification?
8
@sonjacorovic6490 "what happened with hostages?" I'm assuming you're talking about the 250 held by Palestine not the 7,000 held by Israel? About half were exchanged for Palestinian hostages, of the rest 60 were bombed by Israel, their remains have been returned, the remainder are treated as guests, they have the best of the available food, water & medical facilities, they are held as safely as possible under a constant hail of the world's most sophisticated bombs.
