The big worry is all of them have influence on domestic policy too

2:54 liar, you put up the boundary wall, you operate the gunships on the other side, you bombed the crossing to Egypt.
3
@johnchild61 yes, in 1939 passports were required but there were no other controls till 1971. (Again under a Tory government).
3
@Festivejelly we're hearing in the video the jobs are not high quality, most last 3 to 10 years then they're dumped on the street to live in doorways.
3
@rabburns1382 no, it's a product of our voting system. There's generally only one right-wing party that gets votes but several centre or left-wing parties with votes spread between them so the right-wing party gets elected more often. It's not a representation of what people want.
3
so dump the Torys, they've wrecked both.
3
In Parliament it's against the Ministerial Code & against the Nolan Principles. To my mind it's the Speaker's duty to lock offenders in the cell under Big Ben.
3
@artnull13 in 1987 Netanyahu was Permanent Representative to the UN – not Prime Minister but very definitely part of Government.
3
Ace point. "Constance Markievicz Constance Georgine Markievicz, also known as Countess Markievicz and Madame Markievicz, was an Irish politician, revolutionary, nationalist, suffragist, socialist, and the first woman elected to the Westminster Parliament, and was elected Minister for Labour in the First Dáil, becoming the first female cabinet minister in Europe. Wikipedia"

@briangilligan6270 Johnson has already had a day in Court, it turned out that the Judge was an employee so he walked away 😢
3
Do the million deaths need discussing? Does a quarter of the population of the world's 6th richest country living in poverty need discussing? Do the quarter of the world's deaths from Covid that happened in this country this week need discussing? No, we need an actual government, then we need a mechanism to make absolutely certain it never happens again & we need 650 MPs queued at the door of the Hague to answer what part they had in it & then be sentenced accordingly.
3
4:10 Cameron may have been the tipping point but the trainwreck became inevitable the day Thatcher was elected & the inexorable crash is going to continue with Starmer. The bias of FPTP meant that more suitable alternatives were easily brushed aside by the Media.
3
@manvbees they are only "proscribed térròríšts" among ízrael's collaborators, the whole of the rest of the world, more than 3/4 of all countries, follows the law when forming their opinion.
3
😂😂😂😂
3
@robertbunch7829 weather is a "chaotic system" – the more energy goes into it the more chaotic it gets 😢
3
yes, years of self-analysis does that to a person.
3
@rabburns1382 explain please
3
@cottagebythesea of the large parties just the Greens in England, I don't know about the other countries but Plaid Cymru & Scottish Greens look clean. You'd have to have a close look if you were voting there.
3
@cottagebythesea several individuals aren't tainted but as we saw with Corbyn that doesn't mean much if their party is tainted.
3
It's because it was a baby cow they're still alive! If they tried that with an elephant or tiger they would be dead!
3
@charlieboy2587 the Nightingale Hospitals were needed, desperately needed, but they could only find 40 staff so they couldn't open them!
3
5:13 no, they want the people to stay to prevent a recurrence of what you did in 1948.
3
nobody decides, they notice
3
@rkgooner89 I agree lobbying/bribery/corruption is a massive problem.
3
@stephenscaife9993, ...and there's the difference between climate & weather! 😂
3
14:50 no your job, under international law, is to protect the democratically-elected government of the State you are occupying.
3
@tvnostalgia7477 the Government grant for insulation came in during the Blair/Brown administration & was due to start shortly after the election but was immediately canceled by the incoming Cameron administration so nothing got paid out.
3
@Brhdtn hdbfodns the 'goldfish memory' nonsense was a fiction put about by the Sun & bears no relation to the facts, please be careful where you use it.
3
@adamibrahim7338 today is Armistice Day, it marks the end of World War One, "the war to end all wars". The next World War, World War Two, the one after "the war to end all wars", was built on fascism. If you are not unusual in recognizing a transition to fascism this country is in trouble. I really do hope you are unusual.
3
@limpethead oh dear, you still haven't got a clue
3
"great" in the sense of "big" or "influential" maybe, not in any other way. Don't forget Britain set this situation up.
3
51:19 you forget that for months Israel has been using the tried & trusted provocations again Hamas, a retaliation was guaranteed, it's only the scale that's new & that seems to have been because the border guards were on holiday, suggesting some sort of coordination between Israel & Hamas. Don't forget that the protests against Netanyahu's judicial reforms weren't dying down & Netanyahu's government was becoming increasingly fractured.
3
@simonmarie83 democracy is absolutely dependent on quality journalism, this caller's story proves it.
3
"what's the alternative?" A Police Service which solves crimes rather than committing them, a service not a force & an adequately-funded Court service which can judge crimes in a timely manner.
3
That's not what the Court said
3
Actually the further improvement you mention was in 2018, very much a Tory proposition. Much as I loathe the Torys they started out right on this one, what happened was the TERFs latched onto the consultation & haven't let it go since. I blame Brexit & the mind-warping Cambridge Analytica campaign before it. Since then bigots have appeared in loud swarms ranting about every subject.
3
please define "terrorism"
3
@roma8374 they were capable of preventing the incursion but chose not to.
3
@rebeccarittenhouse2203 part of it is because government after government has failed or sometimes refused to uphold their duty under international law to house everyone in the country, part is because the military fails to recondition people back into civilian life even when the military has absolutely broken them mentally or physically. Mostly this is about money, in particular syphoning off the country's money to give to the already unbelievably rich rather than spend it where it's needed.
3
@gipgap4 rationing stopped in phases at about the time the Boomers were being born, by the time they had grown up enough to notice it was over & their parents didn't want to remember the hardships, they wanted to look forward to a better life.
3
Wrong question – why don't these institutions own the land they use, they did till the 1979 Parliament.
3
why are you giving this outright liar airtime?
3
This makes her sound like the perfect MP but her reaction to the corruption of the faked antisemitism claims tells a radically different story. Very disappointing.
3
apparently not :-(
3
Watch again but this time consider the role of an interviewer & above all actually listen.
3
55:55 the "Ethiopian Spice Girls" was a band called Yegna who were formed to pass a message of female empowerment, oppose domestic violence & get girls into school. Girls who aren't allowed out of the house & haven't been to school to learn to read aren't going to read paper leaflets but they do listen to bands. The Daily Mail very nearly killed the whole charity but they have survived & the band is now called Endegna Searching for Yegna still finds the Youtube channel.
3
It's not Brexit, he chose his words carefully. We've had relationships across Europe (& further) since at least Viking times. Queen Victoria deliberately married her children into European monarchies & this was a tradition going back millennia. This absolutely pre-dates Brexit & even the EC/EU!
3
@adamgrimsley2900 Israel.
3
@belindamay8063 there are no problems with 5 year olds – they are required by law to stay with their accompanying adult & have been so required for more than a century.
3
you obviously haven't read the comments. That kind-of implies nobody is reading yours either.
