  7. Both Blair & Bush were (& are) in thrall to Israel, the IsraelLobby is the strongest lobby in Parliament by a huge margin, stronger even than oil. The whole Iraq mess was down to Israel, from the CIA putting Hussein into position to the war to remove him. Israel is a constructed country, it's population is gathered from across the world, the internal factions are impossible to keep from each other's throats without the entire region being unstable so the politicians can spin it as a constant threat. (Don't forget Orwell's '1984' was published the same year Israel was created). Biden is in thrall to Israel too, Afghanistan was trashed so Israel can say to it's people "look over there, don't look at your neighbours"

Coutts is the Establishment bank, the decision to freeze Farage out will have been taken in "Gentlemen's Clubs" as much as within the boardroom, the only way he can fight this is in the "Court of Public Opinion". It does set an extremely dangerous precedent though, banks should not be gracing themselves with a role as Thought Police.

  21. @Baby Barbie we did get rid of the Taliban in 2001 but the "war on terror" brought them back as a defence against the West, USA in particular. The USA, for political reasons, wanted Osama Bin Laden dead, Afghanistan offered to extradite him but this was refused, Afghanistan then offered to take him to the International Criminal Court in the Hague, this too was refused, the USA wanted to bomb him, they even used the most powerful non-nuclear bomb ever dropped & used it on a country that wasn't at war with anyone.

  22. 15:43 that seems a really complicated & unnecessary way of going about cracking the problem! Crude oil, the feedstock of fossil fuels, is compost. Plain simple compost that's been heated & compressed in a sealed space & stored for millennia. Current oil refineries will actually take fresh compost (& dissolved plastics if wanted) as feedstock & produce the exact same outputs. This technological wizardry is simply unnecessary for this task. Dragging carbon out of the atmosphere is absolutely necessary but we should then be locking it into diamonds (as Ecotricity is doing) or some equally long-lived thing to keep it out of the atmosphere not just dumping it straight back into the air!

If he's having a pop at the Media he's probably right, the Media's role in any democracy is to keep the electorate informed about the choices they have to make at the ballot box & in writing to their MPs. I have yet to see as much as a paragraph each about the candidates in an election let alone factual & complete reporting on the day-to-day goings-on in Parliament. When, for instance, did any journalist pick apart one Bill at an early stage & tell us the salient points? Pritti Patel's recent slew of Bills are disgusting but where's the write-up in the Media? The NHS has just been screwed over ready to be sold, where is the discussion from informed & level-headed lawyers, accountants & doctors interviewed in the Media? We are descending into an authoritarian dictatorship but the Media is silent Yes, he's right to 'have a pop' at the Media, they are dangerously useless!

  31. The atmosphere-derived synthetic fuel is carbon neutral – all the carbon it puts into the atmosphere has just come out of the atmosphere. But... it's an incredibly complicated, expensive & energy intensive process that attempts to replicate existing free natural processes & existing oil refineries. Nature has existing efficient low-energy processes (plants) to take that carbon & hydrogen out of the atmosphere & make compost, oil refineries take that compost (it's irrelevant whether it's been underground for millennia) & split & recombine it into whatever hydrocarbon products we want.
