@raulepure9840 you seem to have missed that this whole region, from Turkey to Iraq is known as the "cradle of civilization" for the simple reason that this is where the first cities were built with examples like Damascus having records of continuous occupation for 11,000 years, millennia before Judaism was even a dream. Even Jerusalem dates back to 4,000BCE, also before Judaism.

Indeed, the British went a step further & actively disarmed the Palestinians.

Because at the time they were pandering to their extremist right wing & Stewart isn't extremist anything. He would have evicted the extremists in much the same way as Johnson evicted the Centrists.

All of those points are favourably addressed by the Green Party which is why so many of us will be voting for them.

Given that both of these people accept Israel as power brokers within British politics this was a surprisingly balanced discussion. Obviously this caveat has led to problems & 'oversights' within the discussion, "reservists" translating as "all adult citizens" being an obvious one (Israel has universal conscription so all citizens do military service & are thus reservists at the end of the duty), thus the partygoers were either army or reservists & therefore a legitimate military target. Remarkably, glossed over is the tradition of at least a century that "settlers" don't pay for the land they settle, they evict the inhabitants under force of arms. From 1920 this balance was enforced by Britain who ensured that the Palestinians remained unarmed.

@Rustinho Channel4's Ways to change the world series can be informative though not usually political, I also enjoy Aljazeera and Democracy Now! though they're not strictly UK.

Informative, yes but it has to be filtered through the fact that both have been in English governments, the power broker for which is Israel.

They've both spent many years in the English Parliament where Israel is the main power broker, their language is still tempered by the experience, especially as the English Press is also heavily influenced & they both have reputations to protect. One mis-step & their careers will be ruined.

The "abhorrent actions of Hamas" weren't "initial", to Palestinians this started in the 1870s though many didn't take it seriously till 1920. Israel didn't form Hamas till 1987. Even the current phase is a few years old, starting with Sheik Jarrah.

Given that the IDF for many years have bragged that they can "fly a missile through any window or door in Gaza", the place where it landed was deliberately chosen -- a carpark full of people seeking refuge from the bombing -- with the fragmentation aspect designed to kill & harm people & the incendiary aspect designed to set all the cars on fire causing further mayhem. Please don't try to cite the "did we fire that?" tape because that too has been analysed & has been found to have been assembled from fragments, a propaganda technique Israel has been using for decades.

@Mrunknown223-q9x gas isn't "green energy"! In the Great Texas Freeze gas froze, drastically reducing supplies, then a day later pipe valves & electrical switchgear in the Grid froze. Yes there was icing on wind turbine blades but that only reduces efficiency it doesn't stop them & solar was unaffected except by the Grid no longer working so the electricity couldn't get through.

It sounds like it might be related to upsetting God's plans by bringing forward the Apocalypse to a Zionist agenda rather than leaving the timing to God. (I don't know whether you want to sidetrack into questioning the existence of God or what influence He might have on the modern world?).
