@mnguardianfan7128 "Why do you think this?" ummmm.................. 🤦♂
1
@Tommysotomayorsmomma "to ignore the clown activity you see from Trump" examples?
1
according to democrats... nothing! a pardon, or a commutation!
1
@theCommentDevil most of us want to pay to keep bad people in prisons.....
1
@yesitschelle "even though it means we have to supply these huge defense teams through decades of appeals." it's people, such as yourself, who oppose the death penalty that cause that problem. it costs very little to actually implement the penalty. but you are opposed to that, and so promote a situation of decades of appeals. then whine about the costs... 🤦♂
1
@theCommentDevil sure, appeal after appeal after appeal until they die of old age. I seriously doubt that was what our founding fathers wanted.. that is NOT implementation of our justice system, including the death penalty. but I'm not saying anything about the process, other than, if that's the way you like it, don't whine about the cost of the appeals. did you bother following the conversation thread?
1
@theCommentDevil "I'm not whining about the cost of appeals, merely stating an objective fact that it costs more to execute than to imprison for life." how can this possibly be? because of DOZENS of appeals... which YOU support, correct? exercise your constitutional appeal, if you win, you go home, if you lose, throw the switch. YOU support spending money on dozens of appeals over many decades, correct?
1
@theCommentDevil "it saves tax money" "I'm not whining about the cost of appeals" then why was your initial post about saving money? you don't care about spending money, but you want to save money..?? ummm...........
1
@theCommentDevil "The answer is, it saves money." how so? so now instead of death penalty, it is reduced to life in prison? is that what you're saying? why is that cheaper? why won't that be appealed over, and over, and over, and over...?
1
@theCommentDevil why the personal insults? really necessary?
1
@theCommentDevil do the personal insults make you feel like you're winning an argument?
1
@theCommentDevil so how will this situation save money? can you explain without insults? try... please. thank you.
1
@yesitschelle "On average, death penalty cases cost us an extra $1 million per case." why so much?
1
@yesitschelle "They need more security" why? according to who?
1
@yesitschelle aren't public defenders on the payroll, whoever they are defending? how do death row inmates make the cost go up?
1
@yesitschelle "it means we have to supply these huge defense teams through decades of appeals." why is that? one public defender (already on the payroll) and one appeal. who the hell supports teams of defenders and decades of appeal after appeal after appeal?? conservative maga folks?? hmm......
