@ThatToast who the hell even trains at 40 yards with a handgun?? that's a long damned way for a handgun.

correct! but most, and I mean even most that support the 2A, don't understand WHY the bill of rights was written.... not when... not who wrote it.... but WHY was the bill of rights written? most americans cannot answer that simple question.

@tomtruesdale6901 "Here in Texas, it is called "permit less carry" by statue but everyone calls it "Constitutional carry"" people in texas do have a "permit" to carry... per the definition of "permit". it's called the 2A. that gives "permission".

@TropicalMint808 I typically train unsupported, and try to stay inside a silhouette of head shots, but that's from 30 to 45 FEET! even braced/supported, 8/10 at 40 yards is astounding!

@ThatToast "Yeah i ususaly train 10-20 max" exactly.... 10 to 15 yards with a handgun is what I would normally practice.

@General-kt4bf excellent general! in laymen's terms... the colonists were very leary of a centralized federal government, they had just fought the revolutionary war for their independence.... they didn't want to join this "federal union". the bill of rights were basically promises made to the colonies, ensuring the federal government would NEVER do things like try to take disarm the citizens, or establish disinformation boards to control speech.. which shows you what dangerous times we are living in.. then of course you have the complete morons, who think the bill or rights gave us the right to bear arms.. as if the 2A reads "the right to keep and bear arms is hereby granted".. many of them also believe there is something in there that guarantees them the freedom FROM religion... but then again, americans aren't too bright these days... I actually tell people, I hope that americans have become the dumbest group of people on the planet... why would I say this??? because it's hard to imagine a group of people more stupid than we have become.. (collectively speaking of course)
