  6. @ "the President has clemency rights and can Pardon duh" ok, let's try this... dear imaan815, per your quoted statement above, yes the president does have the power to pardon. that power is granted in article 2, section 2 of our nation's constitution. however, that power is to pardon "offenses committed against the united states." these pardons did not pardon offenses, but instead they pardoned "people". where does the power to pardon people of unnamed crimes come from? can you explain? is that polite enough google?
