It’s not the China that pays the teriffs, it’s the companies that ship it, and sell it for a higher price that the consumer pays. So the shippers still make money but the consumer pays more and china earns the same." I appreciate your opinions of the tariffs. don't confuse them for anything more... yes, I agree, he is taxing the imported goods.

@sctoast2483 "It’s not the China that pays the teriffs, it’s the companies that ship it," that is COMPLETETLY false... not sure what you do for a living, but I work for one of the largest ports in the USA. you don't understand how they work.... the "shippers" don't make any more or less money due to the value of the products in the containers.
