  1. I wish our president were as even tempered and well spoken, in his first language, as Netanyahu is, in his second. Imagine if Biden had to deal with such a rude interviewer, who kept interrupting him, and interjecting her personal opinion and falsehoods, as Netanyahu did here. Why didn't they choose a less obnoxious, ignorant and opinionated interviewer? Or at least one tethered to the truth.

  2. Yes. And further, since there is no constitution, the courts overturn laws based upon their own personal prejudices. And the courts can just create "laws" out of thin air. For example, despite Shas winning several seats, the courts would not allow the head of Shas, Deri, to be part of the government. Not because it broke any law, but just because they felt it was "unreasonable". Also, the cabinet members don't get to appoint their own legal advisors. And they are not allowed to ignore their "advise".

Not only would the proposed changes do nothing about his trial, in any country with true justice, the trial would never have been brought, since it relied upon a reimagining of bribery to something it is not, and "testimony" coerced through torture and blackmail, that the witness immediately recanted. In the US, the case would have been dismissed, but that would require an honest, judicious judge.

The weapons Biden is illegally withholding would allow for taking out terrorists with less collateral damage. 3. Israel doesn't need them for Aza, but to fight Hezbollah, so that citizens, in the north, can return home.

  22. Maybe the courts shouldn't be able to overturn laws, since there is no constitution, and they overturn them based upon personal prejudices. The UK has no constitution, so courts cannot overturn laws. The Israeli justice system was modeled upon the UK one. But, Aharon Barak started just taking power, that was never granted to the courts by law.

The executive is part of the legislative branch, as the prime minister is chosen by the Knesset. But, as the courts have taken all power to themselves, they have unbalanced the government. And what is really disgusting, is how legal advisors, appointed by the courts, can actually stop governmental actions. Taking back all the stolen power would only rebalance the power, and in no way hurt the independence of the courts. It would just take the court's authoritarian boots off the neck of the people's elected government.

  30. Perhaps, but in the US judges don't select their replacements, so that the ideology of the court can never change, as in Israel. Litigants need standing, to bring a case, unlike in Israel. The Supreme Court can only overturn laws if they can demonstrate they are unconstitutional, unlike in Israel, where there is no constitution, and laws are overturned based upon personal prejudices. And, in the US, a committee made up of past and present judges don't get to appoint the AG, and all governmental legal advisors. And members of the US government are allowed to ignore advise, advisors don't have the last say, as in Israel.

  37. The US, under Biden, provides more weapons to Hezbollah and Fatach, than it does to Israel. Does it have a say in how those weapons are used, or does Biden want them to wipe out Israel. Also, the Israeli ratio of noncombatant to combatant deaths is about 1:1, while the US's was over 9:1 in Mosul. If the US kills nine times as many "innocents", why are they giving Israel a hard time?
