Of course all this is due to colonization. Arabs are native only to Arabia. Every country Arabs control in the Levant and northern Africa is land they colonized, by killing many of the indigenous people, enslaving and oppressing the surviving natives, and stealing their land. This includes Israel, where the indigenous people are the Jews. Incidentally, the Arab invaders and occupiers of Israel, called themselves Arabs prior to 1964, when the Egyptian Arafat told them by using this false name, they'd fool the ignorant into not realizing they are invaders. Gaza is historically Jewish land, and even after centuries of Arab colonization, Jews were still the majority until the British forcibly removed all Jews, in response to an Arab pogrom of the Jews, the war crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing.

OMG Trump isn't Hitler, he isn't even Berlusconi. If your measure of autocracy is kleptocracy, then both parties are guilty. Please don't pretend that the Bidens haven't enriched themselves through backroom deals and cutouts. Your aversion to anything populist is extremely elitist and anti-democratic. Unless you want to return to the way democracy was established here, where only those who were 1. male, 2. adult, 3. free, 4. propertied (and in many states, 5. christian) were allowed to vote, you're going to have to accept that democracy is populism, the rule of all the people, not just the elites. And, if your aversion to populism is that, in the past, it was often quite racist, you'll find that today the worst racists have degrees in the humanities, and the salt of the earth is less bigoted and more open minded.

Trump gives intellectuals a lot of reasons to distrust him. But, the US is in the unique position of having to choose between two reruns, neither of whom the majority of the country wants a repeat of. So, we could decide to vote based upon our economic well being under each man, in which case Trump would win. Or, we could vote based upon the men's foreign policies, and how peaceful the world was under each of them. As Biden has been appeasing the worst dictators, and harming our allies, this is also a win for Trump. Or we could look at which man is the greater threat to democracy. Both stole top secret papers. Trump didn't relinquish power with much alacrity when he lost. Not good. Biden has ignored the Constitution on numerous occasions, taking for himself power granted only to Congress. He has used the justice department to hamper his political foe. And Biden has used US tax dollars and the CIA, in an attempt to bring down the democratically elected leader of an ally. So, in the threat to democracy department, Biden is the greater threat. Will you accuse me of TDS because I strongly dislike the man, even though, being a rational being, I'm going to vote for him?
