Why shouldn't that take priority over any other religion's holiday in a christian country? I'm quite sure, if I were in Israel, and eid was given prominence over Pesach, Shavuot or Sukkot, I'd be very angry.

  12. Nigel Farage is correct, there were periods in the earth's history, well before the internal combustion engine, when there was more concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than now.   13. Unlike your despised Ethiopian communist, I actually have a degree in microbiology, and know quite a bit about virology and epidemiology. And, all these security experts, with no microbiological education, claiming it's clear that Covid-19 escaped from a lab, when anyone who knows about viral genetics can see this is false, and all the index cases were on the side of the river with the wet markets, not the side with the laboratory, is full of manure. Yes, China is to blame, because they did not shut down all wet markets permanently after the SARS epidemic, and have done nothing to end the trafficking of endangered species.

  16. As an American, when I heard Starmer claim you all still have free speech, I actually did a spit take. I was watching it in real time, and you should have seen the chat explode. Nobody here thinks you can speak freely over there. We all know about the villains freed from prison, to make room to incarcerate good people, who wrote true words that countered your government's gaslighting. We've seen the weekly pro-Hamas rallies, where genocidal slogans are bandied about, so know certain people are above your law. If it makes you feel any better, seeing how unjustly Labour treats the British public helped elect Trump. We don't want the thought police.

  17. I could understand refusing vaccination, when the NHS was employing the ChadOx vaccine, which uses a chimp adenovirus vector. (It is well known that adenoviruses produce some nasty cardiac effects, especially among younger people. I'd have used two different vectors, chimp adenovirus for those born before 1980, and vaccinia virus for those born after 1980.) But, now that the NHS is using an mRNA vaccine, avoiding the vaccine is moronic, and dangerous if those unvaccinated are caring for older patients. That healthcare professionals would refuse an mRNA vaccine is further proof of the dumbing down of our respective nations.
