Don't blame the parents yet. I knew a lovely family, the mother worked at my father's practice, as his nurse. They were a bit too religious for my tastes, super devote Catholics, but good people. One of their sons was a well liked police detective. I was friends with the daughter, so was upset when someone raped her in her own bedroom. Then, our little rural city had a string of rape/murders, most of the victims were nurses. A few months of terror passed, with a few more brutal rape/killings, and he was caught, the detective figured out the killer was his own brother. The killer's parents and siblings were all really good people, but there was something wrong with Dennis.
