  2. He's been ineffective because 'progressives' have convinced him they are the party's future, when their tired old ideas, even if espoused by ignorant young people, are a debunked past. If he got rid of all his far left advisors, and instead staffed only with moderates, he wouldn't seem so useless and out-of-touch.

  3. If Democrats want to win, they need to stop nominating far left candidates, who turn the majority of the electorate off. Moderation is the key to success. Admit that we need to stop letting people, who enter the country illegally, to claim asylum, because that turns off Hispanic voters near the border. Focus more on combating crime, than the rights of criminals, and those who try to evade arrest. Stop threatening/promising to pay off student debt. For every vote that bribe garners, there are three or four votes lost. Stop promoting trans rights, when it actually takes away hard earned women's rights. And when it comes to schools, focus on the needs of students and parents, not on what the teachers' union wants. Focus on the needs of the country, like combating inflation, not the desires of special interest groups, on either the far right or far left. The majority of the country is centrist, appeal to the majority, not a select minority.
