  1. I can see how someone, who lives in a bubble, could believe that. Start sampling foreign news more. Trump was despised in Europe, but oddly respected in many of the places that provide oil.

  3. The Saudis still have the power to make gas prices rise and fall. Our current high prices are partly due to the war in Ukraine, but mostly due to Biden's feud with MBS. Every time Biden piss that little prince off, they cut oil production, which raises prices. Unfortunately, some very unpleasant people have the power to adversely affect the US people. And realpolitik requires making nice with them, or removing them from the game board. I don't want Trump back, but do wish Biden would swallow his pride, and grovel a bit.
