  1. Should be, but how? And you should know that both parties have been guilty of some pretty extreme gerrymandering. Even so-called nonpartisan districting committees have drawn some pretty biased lines, when both parties agree one state legislator is getting too popular and refusing to follow the party line. (Case in point Carol Hallett, former minority leader of the California State House.) One thing AI can do better than humans, is draw fair district lines. And computers can't be bribed, and don't collude.

  2. Since the Tennessee House knew that these men would be quickly reinstated, what was the purpose of this whole exercise? They've made heroes of two guys, whom nobody ever heard of before. I doubt that was their intention. Did they think this through?
