  1. If only the Nazis had just required Jews to be vaccinated for a deadly disease. Then, I'd have a large extended family in Germany. Instead, only a great aunt and uncle survived. All their children, and numerous nieces and nephews, had been murdered, and they wore long sleeved shirts, even in the heat, to cover the tattoos on their forearms. z"l Siegfried and Frieda, I'm glad I got to know you, and wish I had been able to meet the rest of my family.

  2. Perhaps, but the Nazis didn't have the zeal of killing those other folk, that they did for killing my people. Those who were a quarter Rom weren't sent to the camps, but if someone was a quarter Jewish, they were murdered for it. And, Poles were not sent to the camps, just for being Polish, nor were Jazz musicians. Further, of nine million Jews, living in Europe before WWII, six million were murdered. There is no other group of people where 2/3 of them were killed by the Nazis.
