  2. Back in the 1980s, when LA put in HOV lanes on freeway entrances, I was pulled over for wrongly using the lane. My infant daughter was in the car with me, and the sign said for use of 2 or more persons only. The officer claimed that didn't include babies. I said of course it did. He then offered to let me go, with a warning to not do it again. I told him I would, as a baby is still a person, and he didn't understand the law, and further, I was not going to go until he apologized to me, as I wrote down his badge number. He then apologized. I hope that all pregnant women, living in states that wrongly consider a fetus a person, use the HOV lane. And, if pulled over, make the cop apologize. Get their badge number, and report them.

  3.  @nohaydeque334  The intent of the rule is of no consequence, no matter how many moronic insults you toss out. The signs don't mention the number of seats taken up, but the number of people in the car. If a fetus is legally a person, a pregnant woman legally counts as two people.

  4. Thirty five years ago, I was pulled over for using one of those lanes, with my infant in the car. The cop said she didn't count as a person. Rather than admit his mistake, he tried to intimidate me, but was no match in a battle of wits, and ended up apologizing.
